The NEMT training program is designed to exceed Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) training requirements and support safer passenger assistance.
The training program is also recognized by insurance agencies and service providers participating in the program qualify to receive up to 10% savings for their fleet insurance coverage.
Non-emergency MediCar and service car transportation agencies must certify that each driver and employee attendant, as applicable, has completed a Department-approved safety program.
